My dear Justice Siddiqui,
You are reported to have pleaded for the formation of a separate Board for Minority Institutions on the lines of the CBSE.
In our view, the schools affiliated to the proposed Board and their students shall face an adverse situation both in admission to general and professional colleges and later in private/public employment.
We request you to have wider discussions before making a proposal to the Government.
On the other hand, we need a Board for Urdu medium schools. Perhaps the AMU or the JMI or the MANUU may be persuaded to set up autonomous Boards for secondary education which may permit affiliation of Urdu-medium secondary schools all over the country.
With kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
(SYED SHAHABUDDIN)
Justice M.S.A. Siddiqui
