Endorsement for Selected Seats in Phase IV

New Delhi, 19 April 2007: Shri Syed Shahabuddin, President of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), has issued the following Statement:-

In consultation with fraternal organizations and local friends  the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) has endorsed the following candidates for Muslim concentration constituencies which are going to poll in Phase IV on 23 April 2007.

 In the above constituencies, the AIMMM appeals to secular voters to vote unitedly and massively for the above-named secular candidates with the objective of defeating the anti-secular candidates.

As for other constituencies, the AIMMM advises the secular voters to vote for the most winnable secular candidates.

The AIMMM  appeals to the secular voters to ensure that all voters in a constituency, cast their votes for the common agreed/ endorsed secular candidate, to ensure the defeat of the BJP candidate which will be possible only if the secular votes are not divided.
