Announcement of 60 Scholarships for 2007-08
The Muslim India Educational and Cultural Trust (MIECT) had awarded 50 Scholarships of a total value of Rs. 2,53,200/- for the academic year 2006-07.
The MIECT now announces the following 60 Scholarships for Muslim university students, on merit-cum-means basis, for the academic year 2007-2008:
1. Ten (10) Nizamuddin Scholarships for Post-graduate (or equivalent) courses in Computer Application or Information Technology or Business Administration of Rs.750/- p.m.
2. FIVE (5) Sakina Khatoon Scholarships, exculusively for Muslim Women of Rs.600/- p.m. for a post-graduate course, preferably professional, or for technical, undergraduate courses including BCA, BBA, B. Ed., B. Pharma, BUMS.
3. five (5) PROF. S.A. MAJID Scholarships of Rs. 600/- p.m. for Master’s Course or equivalent in Law, Journalism, Mass Communication and Related Subjects. of Rs. 600/- p.m. for Master’s Course or equivalent in Law, Journalism, Mass Communication and Related Subjects.
4. FIVE (5) BEGUM S. A. MAJID SCHOLARSHIP of Rs 600/- p. m. for postgraduate courses in English, Statistics, Development, Economics, Social Work, Education. of Rs 600/- p. m. for postgraduate courses in English, Statistics, Development, Economics, Social Work, Education.
5. FIVE (5) Prof. NAYYAR PERVEZ SHAHABUDDIN SCHOLARSHIP of Rs 600/- p. m. for B. Tech. student in IIT or equivalent institution. of Rs 600/- p. m. for B. Tech. student in IIT or equivalent institution.
6. FIVE (5) DR. HASAN MAJID MEDICAL Scholarships of Rs.600/- p.m. for MBBS course, preferably with good record in Orthopedics. of Rs.600/- p.m. for MBBS course, preferably with good record in Orthopedics.
7. Twenty Five (25) MIECT Scholarships for Under-graduate Degree Cources or Technical Diploma Courses of Rs.400 p.m. respectively.

All applicants must be enrolled in Colleges and Departments of recognized universities.
