Shahabuddin Expresses Deep Sorrow and Shock at his Sudden Demise

The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) pays its sorrow and shock at the sudden demise of Mr. C.R. Irani, the Editor-in-Chief of the Statesman and recalls his immense services to the nation not only as an eminent commentator on national affairs but as a great champion of Human Rights and Rules of Law, Freedom of the Press and Civil Liberty.

The AIMMM pays its respectful tribute to him and conveys its sincere condolences to all members of the Statesman family and prays for eternal peace to the departed soul.
